Our Story Began With a Question

In 2018, a group of Brisbane financial educators asked themselves a troubling question: why do so many young Australians struggle with money management despite living in one of the world's most prosperous nations?

The answer was clear. Our education system excels at preparing students for university entrance exams but falls dramatically short when it comes to practical financial skills. Students graduate knowing calculus but unable to read a payslip.

TasmanvordProTech was founded to bridge this gap. We began with weekend workshops in community centres across Brisbane's inner suburbs. Word spread quickly among parents who recognized the value of what we were teaching.

Our Teaching Philosophy

We believe financial education should be experiential, not theoretical. Reading about compound interest is forgettable. Watching your simulated investment grow over a twelve-week period creates lasting understanding.

Learning by Doing

Every concept is reinforced through practical exercises. Students don't just learn about budgeting—they create and manage actual budgets throughout the course.

Age-Appropriate Complexity

We calibrate our content for different developmental stages. A thirteen-year-old needs different examples than a seventeen-year-old preparing for independent living.

No Shame, No Judgment

Money carries emotional weight. We create safe spaces where students can ask questions and make mistakes without embarrassment.

The People Behind the Programs

Our educators combine financial industry experience with genuine passion for working with young people. Many are former teachers, financial planners, or accountants who found their calling in youth education.
